removing bottom panel

I am having a couple of small problems with my fresh water tank on my 8280.
1) it's not venting correctly when filling. 2) the probes reading 1/3 when its empty. Instead of having it at the dealer, I want to remove a bottom panel and see if I can get to the fresh water tank and play to see if I can fix the problems myself. Anyone ever taken one off? Is it just screwed, and how difficult or time consuming is it going to be?? The rig is at our storage lot so I can't look at it right now. Or anyone know of a better way to get to the fresh water tank??

I've had the same problem with our 8280WS.

I removed some sections of the underbelly on ours and found that the vent line is routed under the slide room drive and below the level of the tank fill line. The vent line could not be re-routed to change this. The lowest section fills with water so the fill line becomes the vent...ends up that the tank is only about 3/4 full.

If you want to fill the water tank completely, I've used an air nozzle on my air compressor that I bring along and blow the vent line back into the tank.

Mine also vents through the fill hose. It will fill eventual but a slower process. The first time I filled, it was only 3/4 filled and ran out of water. the next time I knew to fill and wait forit to vent. Works for me. No underbelly coming off my Flagstaff CKWS8528.
