Removing pine pitch from TT roof

We just returned from a week of camping / fly fishing on the Battenkill River in VT.
The campground's canopy is mostly white pine.....well this time of year in NE the pines cover everything with green pollen and pine sap droplets. The question is what would be the safest way to remove pine sap from the roof of the TT and
slides? The fiberglass sides and TV no problem.
Any thoughts/advise would be appreciated....thanks

We were hosting in Kings Canyon n.p. last summer and got dollar sized droplets of sugar pine SAP on ours. I just let mother nature dry it out. You might ruin the rubber roof if you put chemicals on it.
