As seen on another thread, most of us wouldn't lend them to our kids! Why would we rent them out to strangers?

Would never do it. Insurance concerns alone would stop me. Way too much risk.

That's what the Eagle's said about reuniting... And then named their comeback album Hell Freezes Over!

And you'll never have a Peaceful Easy Feeling if you rent.

Would rent my house out but never my camper.

Daughter has had my camper last 5 weeks and I really miss it. Oh her too! It comes home after we all go camping this weekend.

I met a guy in my neighborhood who uses RV share. Rents a 25ft toy hauler, says he makes about 8k a year doing so. He's had some bad experience at times but said it's worth it. However it's not his only trailer. He upgraded and rents it as opposed to selling.

I sold my first TT to a guy in mid Missouri who has a camper rental business. He paid me my asking price which was only $2K less than I paid for it new a year earlier. He was in a big hurry to get it because he was turning down business. He said he gets them mostly paid off in two good seasons then sells them while fairly new.

I think we private owners are too emotionally attached to do that. Personally, I couldn't rent my TT but had no problems renting out my house.... go figure?
