Resort weekend

Took the wife and 3 year old to lake of the ozark for a weekend getaway before we have child# 2 here in June......it reminded me why we have an rv. Stayed at Tan Tar a "resort" where everything was old outdated and not included with your room rate. 190 per night could have gotten a week at the very nice state park.....oh well. Hormonal wife is always right.
We missed the hail storm in st louis....awaiting assement of the camper when we get back to town tonight.

hope all is OK with the camper- a few weeks ago we stayed at Johnson's Shut-ins state park in Middlebrook Mo. it is a great campground - we stayed in the FHU section. we really enjoy the Ozarks - seeing that you are close to there I recommend staying there if you haven't already. lets us know how the camper did.

I second the Johnson Shut In park. And Elephant Rock Park is not far. Meramec is a nice park, along with Bennett Springs and Onondoga!!! Love Missouri State Parks!!!

Got back into town last night.....checked on the camper all is well. Apparently we did get some hail....nothing major. However....the real hell was just a few miles south of us. My buddy sent me this photo....if you had a car outside every pannel is destroyed. Not to mention your home's roof, siding and every surface was smashed.

Welcome to the Mid-west in April.
