Restroom decided to leak this morning

Went to the restroom around 5 am and step on some water on the floor. I thought maybe the water from taking a long shower yesterday .

Anyways, wiped it and walked away. Woke up and found more water. This time, I checked the cabinet under the sink and found some water on the floor. Looks like the leak is from the splitter.

I hope I don't have to pull the cabinet off to work on the fix . One more week I am leaving for a camping trip.

I will check it out tonight when I get off from work. But I don't trust pex tubing/connections. Second leak in a month (it was a low drain before).

I'd trust the fittings just not the people that installed them .

Assuming I have to cut away some tubing. Does the plastic coupler work well if I have extend the tubing?

Do you mean the plastic unions that the pex pushes into and locks ?

If so yes . I used all plastic push lock fittings when I redid my water pump area as to add in a tee and valve for winterizing.
No leaks .
Best part is they come back apart if needed .

I was asking about the regular coupler where you have to crimp it. I guess I can used what you shown me since it is in a tight area.

you have to push in the pex and the plastic retainer.
then hold retainer and pull out pex . its so simple and many people over think it .

I am assuming with those push in unions, connectors, the tubes can be wet while connecting them?

water can be running out and it will be fine .

I think I fixed this issue. Lucky I didn't have to pull the cabinet out, just had to lift the bottom shelf up and the staples flew out .

The splitter (hot water line) where the outside shower connects with a clamp was loose. I tighten really hard and the leak stops for now.

I am thinking the leak was there before I bought it and somehow the hot water usage exposed it or it was coincidence? I bought the trailer about 2 months ago and never tested hot water this long.
