Roadside Safety Devices

I had never thought much abut it until recently but, got to thinking about what if's and what I need to carry. While looking for something light weight I came across these:

Amazon.com: Wagan EL2639 FRED Flashing Roadside Emergency Disc LED Flare: Automotive

Has anyone tried them?

I also looked at the LED roadside emergency flashers but ended up not buying. IF I ever pulled the 5er after dark I think I would have purchased the warning triangles with the built in LED lights. They would be dual use day/night. Since I can't remember the last time I was pulling the 5er after dark, I decided to just stick with the regular warning triangles and road flares I keep in my tow vehicle now. Those puck type flashers would be impossible to see during the day and it would be my luck that the first time I used them somebody would run over and break them. If I traveled at night I think they would be a good idea. Safer than flares and easy to see.
