Right across from the launch pads and Cape Canaveral.

Not to be picky, but the launch pad used by Spacex is 39A. It was used by Former Apollo and Shuttle launches. It is the red arrow by the water. The arrow in the pervious post point to CCAFS lauch towers - sand bars in water actually - LOL. Most of the launch pads are along the water's (ocean) edge.

My other arrow is the Shuttle landing site (runway). The runway pointed to in a previous post is for the runway at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station. It was a "backup" along with many other locations for the shuttle, but only KSC and Edwards AFB were ever used.

The shuttle actually landed at White Sands Missile Range in NM once. It was quite an event. And watching them load the shuttle on the 747 and then fly low over Las Cruces was spectacular!!!!!

No worries, I was more intent to show where KARS was and not a tour of Kennedy.
