Roll Up RV Awning Lights

Hello All,

I have been searching and searching for awnining lights that you can attach to your awning and roll up. The hassle of taking some form of lighting down each time you need to roll up your awning is painful.
I am told that the rope light that slides into the roller track eventually will stretch the awning when rolled up. Has anyone experienced this?
Once while surfing the internet I did see some sort of flat light strip almost like it was small lcd or led light imbeded onto an adhesive tape strip or something. For the life of me I cannot find it again.

Ok fellow RVer's, show me that I wasn't dreaming and tell me what you know.

All we are trying to create is some general mood lighting and not task lighting.

Forest River Forums - windrider's Album: Speedy Awning Lights

The problem with rolling up awning lights in your awning is going to be excessive wear on the fabric. I came up with the idea above, to make removal faster if a storm came up. I will roll up the nylon hangers if I have to, but remove them, or unroll the awning, as soon as the wind is gone. Would never travel with them rolled up.
