Rookie question

Just purchase a 2014 forest river heritage Glenn 272BH. We took it out for first trip last weekend. Control panel says there are 2 gray water tanks but dealer showed only one release valve for both gray and black water tanks. At first I thought it was just an extra button since some models do have 2 gray tanks. However, the tank showed "E" at the beginning of our trip and the 2/3 at the end, even after emptying tanks. So is it possible there is another tank I'm not aware of? I have read that sometimes models have separate gray tanks for sinks and showers. Note: the freshwater tank is empty as well...help a rookie out!

My 38Fl has a second pull handle away from the other two handles. One gray tank handles the kitchen and the other handles the bathroom and laundry.

You will get a better response if you post this question in the forum of the trailer's brand.

Well I'm pretty much a rookie also but crawl under the trailer and have a look. If your gauge says that you still have gray water, you probably do. There's got to be another dump valve somewhere! Someone here will set you straight.

Many trailers, 5th wheels included, will have 2 grey tanks, one for bathroom and one for kitchen depending on your floor plan. Our older 5th wheel had two valves one for each grey tank, first one with the blank flush and the second in the back at a separate hookup and drain. With our 2015 trailer there is still 2 grey tanks but it has a long pipe that connects it with the main drain so only one hose hookup but you still must walk towards the back and pull that grey tank separately. When I'm draining I just hook up the drain hose and start at the rear grey, the kitchen drain in ours, let it drain for a while, close it and move forward, drain the black then drain the bathroom drain since with the shower that's usually more water to flush out the residue of the black then the kitchen anyway. But yes as others have said, if you have a panel showing 2 greys, you've got 2 greys to drain!
