Rubber seal - external window

Hi

We are having trouble with the bed slideout rubbber seal on our Wildcat 29RKQB - when the slid goes out the external rubber seal is getting caught down the side and under the slide - we have to go out and put our finger into the rubber and pushit to the outsdie - is there anyting I can put on the rubber to assist it - I am concerned that in the end the rubber will split or loose?

First off to FRF, there is a possiblity that your slide out is out of adjustment. I myself have had no problem with this issue but a few other members have, and they posted how to correct it. Hang in there someone will chime in and help you. The people here are fantastic and they alot of info. Good luck.

Thanks for responding so quickly. Distributor wants us to recheck rubber seals and see if we can identify why theyare not coming out first. We will pass on the information supplied that the slide could be out of alignment and see what goes.

Thaks for quick response have printed off material and will supply it to our distributor - curerntly he is thinking it may just need new rubbers - however I am not sure that is the problem - hope it isn't that the slide is out of alignment.

First off to FRF. Glad you tuned in.
Hopefully your rubber seal problem is minor and can be taken care of. I had a similar problem on my old trailer and it was recommended to use the following products to help the seal condition as well as keeping it from sticking to the wall of the slideout.

I still use these products about once a month. They are definitely cheaper than replacing any seals that may stick and tear.
