RV carports

Hello. I am looking at getting a new carport for our 2011 Sunseeker. Wife and I have narrowed down the brand between Carolina carport and Eagle carport. We are looking at 12 x 36 x 12 high with sides and back enclosed.
Has anybody had good luck with either brand?
Thank you,
Randy

12 ft. Might be a bit tight, depending your heights. I would suggest 13.5 or 14. Gives a bit of room for taller rigs, and may even allow you to do some basics to the roof while covered. Of course, your results may vary.....

Since I'm interested in covers, too, I just took a minute to Google both types you mentioned. It was a bit surprising (at only 2 and 2.5 stars) to see the results.
Seems hugely dependent on the installer you have, so as Paulie1138 said, your results may vary.

I used T-N-T Carports - Nationwide installed metal carports, garages, buildings, rv covers, horse barns, lean-tos and more! and have been very happy with mine. My RV shed is 40' long by 18' feet wide with 12' side legs which makes the center peak accommodate my 13' 6" or so trailer. My side walls are covered from the top half way (6') down. Here in Texas, I left my ends open so our strong winds wouldn't blow the shed away like a para-sail.

Carport

To add, I built my own from structural steel and a wood deck. 30'x40'. Perfect spot for my 10 kW solar panel array with room to grow.

Had one put up fall of 2014 by All Steel Carports out of Muncie, IN. Best pricing I could find, solid reputation locally, good warranty. The work in a several state area.

Couldn't find a good pic on my camera, but here's one. I went with 18 x 40 with 12' side walls, fully enclosed back and sides.
I also ordered extra parts and made out-swinging doors for the front. The rationale is that this preserves my full height. With the roof slope, I have well over 14' of clearance at the center. For the middle 12' of the building, I have 13'6", max height allowed in the road.
Oh, and the 18' height also lets me open slides on both sides of the unit at the same time.
Good luck w your decision.

As stated above, if the side walls are 12' and the center is higher you should be OK. I believe the height of the Sunseeker class C is 11'4".

If possible you may want to 14' in both height and width.

Good luck.

I looked at those online. Unfortunately I live in western Pa. and they do not install or supply to my state. Thank you for the response.

Paulie1138:
I have talked with both representatives of the carports and they both said I should have 13.5' in center. I only need to clear 11.4' with the A/C unit. Thank you for the response.

Mr Dan.:
I looked up TNT as I have never heard of them before, turns out I have 3 dealers within 20 miles of my home. I am going to call one tomorrow. Thank you for the info.
This is why I love this forum

You are correct. My height is 11.4' with the A/C unit. I have a cover it shelter now and it is 11 yrs old and pretty worn out. The wind really does a number on the vinyl tarp. The reason I am going with 12' wide is that is what I currently have leveled off.
Thank you for your response.

Mine is 36' long, 16' wide, 12' high at the sidewalls and 14' at the peak. Originally ordered it for our TT with wider slides but it had to be perfectly centered. Our Forester fits perfect and both slides can be open with room to spare. I also went with a 4' panel on the sides to help keep the sun off the roof.

It was built by Orlando Steel but I am certain they don't do business up in Pennslyvania
