RV Cover intallation in wet weather

Can an RV cover be put on when the camper is still wet. I want to put my camper to bed for the winter but every weekend it seem to rain or drizzle. I have an ADCO breathable cover.
I am concerned of mold growth under the cover.

Lay some pool noodles on the roof from side to side and then put the cover on.
This will allow air under the top of the cover to circulate some.
