Really, it depends on how handy you are at fixing stuff. Most extended warranties are not worth purchasing, most have a small deductible you must also pay per covered repair, and I've found that on the things I purchased the ext. war. on, stuff always either never broke, or the thing that did break happened to be the one thing that the warranty doesn't cover!! In the 3 years I have owned my camper, I have found that almost everything is an easy fix, usually fuses or loose wires/bad connection. The only thing I have had replaced under warranty was the famous Concertone radio that almost everyone on here has had some problem with. I think if your'e at least a little bit of a do-it-yourselfer, and you use this forum for any problems that come up- (ask questions, most of the time, someone will know how to fix it). Also, remember almost all of the camper's appliances have their own manufacturer warranties, that are usually longer than the For.Rvr. one year standard. Good luck with your decision, and Happy camping!! Randy
