RV Drain Hoses
My wife & I are new to the RV world - we have just purchased a 2016 Forest River Sunseeker - 2500TS - What is/are the best black water drain hoses to buy (Manufacturer, length , number, etc,) & how do you clean them / store them when you finish draining the black & grey water tanks?

Rhino Flex....many will recommend it. Comes in 15 ft and you can get 5 and 10 ft extensions. I carry a 15ft and most times it is enough. I also have 2 5ft extensions and the odd time have to add a 5 ft on to the 15...I have yet to need to add more than that, but I have it in case.
Always dump your black first then you dump your grey and that helps to rinse the hose. But afterwards you still will want to rinse the hose with fresh water. I use a separate hose for that....never my white potable water hose.
Rhino flex is great because it is quite durable, closes like an accordion for storage, comes with caps to put on the ends for storing.

Many store them in the rear bumper, but danger there is that it is just a matter of time before you lose an end cap off the bumper while travelling and get to your destination to find you have lost your hose. As you begin your travels you will undoubtedly spot some sewer hoses scattered along the side of the highway, then you will see what I mean. Many get a tote or Rubbermaid container to store their sewer hose and other sewer tools/accessories, rather than storing in the bumper.
Also never ever leave your black water tank valve open while camped. Let it fill and dump when it is close to full. Otherwise you will get a buildup of solids on the bottom of your tank. You need lots of liquids in your tank to help flush out the solids and break up the solids and paper in the tank. Lots and lots of reading to be had in this forum on the subject if you do a search. You wouldn't believe there could be so much conversation about toilet paper and poop!

Drill a small hole through the bumper and end cap then drop a small galvanized nail in the hole. This stops the end cap from falling out.

Rhino Flex here also. I usually stop up the grey tank the day before we leave or the day before we drain the black tank. Then after draining the black tank. Drain the gray and let the shower/sink water wash out the hose. I have the EZ Hose carrier mounted under the front of 5er but also carry three short hoses in a plastic tote in storage area. After I get home I let the ones in the tote air out if I used them. The one in the carrier I don't worry about because the carrier has vent holes to let it dry out.

OK - Thanks for the info.....in your experience, do you think a 5ft. Rhino Flex hose would work at most of the dump stations at RV/KOA resorts? Most of the times, would you be that close?

You will want the 15 ft at a minimum. I have never needed to use an extension at a paid campground. I have the 10 ft extension because at our private family land where we camp I'm too far away from the sewer.
Hope that helps.
