RV Seller Network
Anyone ever dealt with these guys? They charge $199 up front and will list the camper until it sells, no back end percentage or anything (supposedly).
Any info you can give?

Sounds fishy to me. After listing my old tt on craigslist, I was contacted by rvtrader, but not the one I normally search. Same story. $$ down and nothing after sale. Really pushed because they needed units in sd for oil fields.... I would shy away, but that's just me

I'd say no to that deal...so many other avenues that'll work better: ebay, craigslist, rvtrader, etc...

Sold my Cougar 291RLS on Craigslist in less than 24hrs, couldn't believe it. My selling price was what I paid for it 2 1/2 yrs prior.

Or your price might be out of line. You might want to look at similar campers on craigslist and see what the price point is for that type of camper.
Here in STL. I found a few 2007(ish) 30 foot, bunkhouse campers with a slide that are asking from $11,000 to $15,000. If someone posted that type of camper at $18,000 asking, he probably won't get much response.
Also make sure you have PICTURES on CL. When I search, I automatically ignore any ad without pictures. I might have passed up a few bargains along the way, but I really want to see the item for sale.

Ya, I'm the same way Tim, no pics, no chance. I have pics up and am priced at 11,900 (1,000 below dealers selling the same one, and $1,500 below nada). Keeping my fingers crossed!

I posted on craig's list, had 10 buyers calling within 24 hours. Sold it to the first guy who came out. Got my asking price. But be careful. Take cash or certified check only. Do not sell over the phone to the guy that wants wants to buy for his dad etc...
Also be realistic in your price. Use the NADA as a guide. I was watching other trailers on Craig's that were there for months. Most people are asking way over book value for their trailer. Seriously it's probably not worth as much as you think it is. But the choice is yours. You can sell it and move on, or you can keep renewing your listing hoping somebody will come along and over pay you.
You should never have to send money for somebody to buy something from you!
