Glad to hear no one was injured.

Just goes to show these mobile boxes have no integrity other than when sitting on the wheels. Even then it is questionable.

Wow! That thing came all to pieces.

Did you see it while it was happening?

Yes, I was going in the opposite direction and its snaking action caught my attention. A couple of wig-wags and the trailer attempted to pass the TV and flopped over in the ditch (good thing) and blew up. As you see, it settled wheels up. An 18-wheeler did a good job of staying off of them. I couldn't testify in court but thinking back, I believe they passed the 18-wheeler and began their oscilllating path to the ditch. Speed limit there is 75 mph.

Man bun + little/no experience + no WDH w/ sway control = Firewood on the side of the road.

Ok, so the man bun didn't cause the accident, but I would be curious to know if they just hitched up and went without a WDH w/ sway control. Which aren't required on HD trucks but they also don't hurt and may have helped them here.

Ultimately, glad nobody was hurt. Just goes to show how quickly things can do south if you're not careful and don't know how to react if the trailer starts to sway.

And my response is always, "no, they just look younger than us".
And I find the older I get, the younger they look, and pretty soon, EVERYBODY will look younger than me.
I also want to know why the image of me in my head, in no way resembles the old man in the mirror. Damn mirror........

I bet he had not sway bar or load levers and lost it and going way to fast. You think?

Absolutely no way to tell from the pics. I find most assumptions are way worse than what actually happened

Being young and inexperienced if could definitely have been a case of ignorance but not necessarily stupidity. Glad no one was hurt and I can't imagine how I would feel if that was me. Almost ended up in a ditch when a car pulled out from the shoulder just as we approached at 60 mph. A very scary situation.

Where in gods green earth is it shown in the pic that there isn't any sway control/WDH ??? Really ???
Firewood on the side of the road ???? ARE YOU SERIOUS ??? I always have a pile of firewood in the bed of my truck whenever we'd head to a local spot.

Did you really stop reading after the first paragraph of my post?

Not sure if YOU are being serious or sarcastic as the post you quoted makes it very clear that I have no idea what happened or what the cause was.

The trailer in the pics from the OP is nothing but a pile of sticks now...aka firewood.

Too much caffeine or are you just being silly?

Scenarios (a postulated sequence or development of events) often lose their context when written.

I assume TheWolfpaq82 simply misread this scenario as an assertion.

Perhaps, which is why reading an entire post before replying is pretty important. Wolfpaq's response felt like a knee-jerk reply based on only reading the one sentence.

Anyway...
