RV'ers are great people
Had to share this Facebook post of mine from my first RV trip with my wife.
--------------------
RV'ers are nice people let me tell ya....forgot diapers...Sarah took a walk, came back in 5 minutes with a stack of diapers. Tripped my breaker because I never had an extension for my 30 amp chord...guy next to me is standing there with an extra cable he had, already knowing my problem....happy May 2-4 everyone
---------------------
Loving this summer! Can't wait to go back out there

When we were tent camping...just starting to tent camp, we had brought along a little electric fan. Site had electric and it was MISERABLY hot and humid that week. Of course, I didn't bring enough extension cord. Guy in the next site loaned me one. Since then, I carry enough fuses for an entire campground, extension cords, rope, tarps..even a pup tent and extra tent stakes just in case someone needs something. I've actually loaned out the tarp and tent stakes.

LOL When I had a camper I always carried extra stuff..mostly for the neighbors. I had electric repair stuff, plumbing(pex and fittings and tools), tire repair stuff, bolts/screws, sealants, etc. Just in case.

Like a good neighbor, RV'ers are there! I am still an RV rookie and travel solo to Texas State Parks for a week or so at a time. I also have a physical disability. At every state park I have visited, fellow campers have been more than willing to help me with repairs and maintenance to my RV. They also invite me to sit with them to shoot the breeze or enjoy a night campfire. I am having the time of my life!

Stayed at State campground. I thought all hook ups were close. I needed 50' of hose to get water. The people who take care of our site came over with a new 25' hose we could borrow. He had a lot of experience with State campgrounds! Good people

Sometimes the item you missed is the item most needed. That experience makes for good conversation around the campfire later on.

So good to hear positive experiences! One of the reasons why we love to camp.

It's the ascii text for an emoticon. Looks like a pac-man rolling around on the floor laughing.
