Philthy99 if you have a choice do not bring your RV to Phoenix during those months. We have temperatures pretty steady over 110 during the day and at night it is common to stay over 100. If you had 5 a/c units it wouldn't cool down. The only way is to google covered/inside parking if your planning on staying in the unit but I don't know of any place that would let you stay in the unit overnight.

Love Arizona in the Winter

I'm a reverse Snowbird and love Arizona. I have a 1000sq ft home in a RV Golf resort in East Mesa. I've been living in Arizona for 15 years, and love the weather for 8 months a year, and travel the other 4 months a year. I wouldn't trade it for anything else. I'm doing a 12k mile road trip this summer up North & East.

Guess if you have a spot in FL. u like, go for it. I miss the snow of New England, but not the taxes!!! Can see snow on mountains from Tucson+ fill my needs.
Where ever you end up for the winter, enjoy+keep smiling!!!
Lived in Pa and Oh until I retired in early 2003. Could not wait to get away from the cold/snow.. Now living in se coastal NC. Low taxes and not cold in winter but 'Yankee cool' . Like it a bit warmer. Low taxes here and like it best 9 months a year - just a little warmer the other 3 would be great but not willing to cook for 9 either.

Hi CaptnJohn! My husband and I are going to Mesa AZ this winter. Staying at Mesa Regal 55+ rv resort. It's one of the Cal-Am group of RV resorts. Never been there before but it looks like fun! Check it out!

I'll check it out. FL is a 13 hr drive and AZ will definitely be a lot farther from NC but after this winter (we are committed) we will be ready for a change.

Hey Cap...there are thousands of RV sites in the Phoenix metro area. Most of us stay in Mesa or Apache Junction. If you want lots of activities stay in the larger RV resorts with between 1 K and 2 K sites. If you want something quieter (and cheaper) try the little parks scattered everywhere. I have been going there for 15 years in winter.

Get a small studio apartment with all the amenities. There are are a lot of corporate apartments there. you won't regret it.

We found Casa Grande 45 miles south of Phoenix. A few nice resorts with lots to do and not a lot of traffic like Phoenix.
