Does not always work on people impaired by mind altering medications (crack, meth, bath salts etc.)

There is no sense in being out in the desert or woods alone in an RV unarmed. Always carry a firearm and enough ammo to lay down sustained withering fire.

Stock up on oven cleaner spray if you prefer to carry pepper spray, and pepper spray is illegal. Oven cleaner may not deter a bear, but it will deter people and small animals.

I'm packing at the minimum a 45 on my side whenever my family is in the RV and we are headed out to camp, travel , etc ...

Bear spray, ok that's funny.

I am armed (ccw) every day while RVing or otherwise in States that permit me to carry! The states that don't will never see me or my money

Lol, kind of what I was thinking ! I'd want to eliminate the threat in a serious scenario not just make the subject, bear or human, blind and angry

There is a great video out by the guy who invented bear spray. It is endorsed by many people like him who have survived a bear attack. They say it is really effective stuff, albeit not cheap. There has never been a successful pistol defense against a bear attack that I know of.

If I'm dressed, I'm armed, and I stay that way everywhere I legally can!

Can't carry in GA but we are lucky to have a trainer to offer Utah permits. Waiting on mine so I can carry in GA. Beautiful campgrounds and some really great wineries in northern GA. Who knew!!!

Florida has a nonresident. Just go on line and request a kit.
