Sad Branson, MO event

While watching the local news this morning in the Kansas City area, a story came on stating that the Veterens Memorial Museum will be closing in mid August if they cannot find another owner.

This is a small, but excellent museum honoring those who have served. Hopefully this can be saved.

Personally, I want to thank all those who have served, currently serving, and for those who have given their life so we can enjoy what we have in this country.

I never bothered to visit that museum place when we visit Branson. It just wasn't a place I wanted to see. I haven't visited the Titanic exhibit either.

I went through it once. My father in law is a WWII and Korean War vet. We bought him a hat that recognized both conflicts. He wears it all the time.

I have always wanted to go through this museum but have never made it through there while we have been in Branson. I hope they are able to find a new owner.

I too would like to thank all of those who have served or are currenly serving in our armed forces, and those who have paid the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom. You are all true heroes and I have the greatest respect for all of you!

I have been to the Veterans Museum.....twice .....and saw things both times that I missed the other time.

I sure hope that they can find a way to keep it open at least thru October when our old Navy ship reunion will be in Branson.

If not.....THANKS FOR YOUR SERVICE FOLKS.....and THANKS FOR REMEMBERING ALL WHO HAVE SERVED.

Both exhibits are really good. Went through them with Ervin's army buddies. At the titanic when you go in they give you a card with a name and description of that person. During your self tour you might find that name and it tells something about what they did while aboard. Then at the end you go check the board and see if you survived or not. Real interesting. We enjoyed these two exhibits more than some of the shows we saw.
