I've never RV'd there, but I lived there for 14 years and just came back from a visit a few months ago.

There is SO much to do in San Antonio, and I'm pretty sure you'll love it. It's a really wonderful city!

Sea World, Fiesta Texas, the River Walk, the Alamo, Japanese Tea Garden, Natural Bridge Caverns........some out-of-this-world Mexican food and BBQ.....great people.......

Spend some time at one of the tourist sites for SA and start making your list.

We just spent 3 night at Travelers World RV Resort. Nice small, very clean RV park. Close to downtown and Bus access into Downtown if you don't want to deal with driving.

I've heard good things about Admiralty RV as well as the KOA. As for things to do:
1. The Alamo
2. The San Antonio National Missions Historical Park
3. The Tower of the Americas. Even if you don't eat at the restaurant you will still enjoy the view.
4. Institute of Texan Cultures
5. River walk. Take the boat tour. A tremendous amount of info is giving to you. Skip the dinner on the boat.
6. San Fernando Cathedral. The cremated remains of the Alamo defenders are here.
7. Big Lou's Pizza. They have giant pizzas!! Pretty fun to watch them serve it.
8. Lulu's Bakery and Cafe. The 3lb cinnamon roll...'nuff said.
9. The Market. Visit either Mi Tierra or La Margerita restaurants. Catch a live band or Mariachis. This can get crowded but it's fun to shop and visit the vendors as well.
10. San Antonio zoo. Ride the mini train through Brackenridge Park.

Have a great stay!!
