Does your new F150 give you all of the information that the scan gauge can ?? If so, then there is no need to keep it.
On my 2006 F150, it gives me information that is not availalbe on the truck gauges......such as transmission fluid temperature, actual voltage, what gear the tranny is in, plus if the torque converter is locked or not. I also like the trip screens..........current, today, previous day, and tank stats.......especially the mpg figures. Also, I can go back and see trip mileages, on each of those modes, as well as maximum rpms.
