Screen doors, New very tight

Is it normal for the screen door to be a tight fit?

You have to really push /pull them to close them.

New camper, Flagstaff 831bhds, 2014

Actual door closes beautiful though

just a simple adjustment of the striker plate will solve that

Nope, the plastic striker plate is already out as much as possible.

I just bought a new camper and one of my screen doors drags on the frame when opening and closing. I can't see any way to adjust it.

Ours was the same way. It was not square with the door opening. You have to bend it a little until it opens/closes easily. I would also check the main door's latch assembly. On ours the bolts came lose and the door opened on the highway. I would apply some blue Loctite to them.

My sunseeker was the same way. You had to push or pull the door real hard to latch it. I removed the strike plate and drilled out the holes. Also had to grind down the one corner because it wouldn't adjust without hitting another bolt that was holding the main cabin door latch. Easy to do since everything is plastic. Once I made the adjustments it worked fine.
