Season Opener
We are heading out this weekend to Gordonville, PA Country Acres for our first 2013 camping trip. Anyone else going out for the first time this weekend?

We went out for our first ever campout this past weekend. It took sone time finding a campground that was open (besides a KOA). We had a blast. Just wish the fishing would have been better.

We went tent camping last weekend at Pine Grove Furnace State Park in PA last weekend and then headed straight to Williamsburg for a week of RV camping.

We have our first weekend booked at the end of April. Will be good to go if the snowbank in front of the trailer melts!

We're taking our first camping trip of the year this weekend to Charlotte for the Food Lion Autofair. Lots of antique cars and filets on the grill....can't wait! It will also be our first time towing the 5er with our new Chevy diesel. Should be a big change from the 8.1L gasser we were towing with. The weather should be nice and I plan to take some pictures of our setup for all to see. Headed back home on Sunday and taking my horse out for his first "good" ride of the year so he can enjoy the nice weather too!

Went out last weekend for the first time of 2013!! Checked all the systems and gave it a good cleaning. Had to re-winterize due to the sub freezing temps. Boo. Now I feel like I have to do it all over again.

Whereabouts in Alabama? I camped last year at Monte Sano (is that right?) in Huntsville- it was gorgeous!

I'm hoping we can go next weekend. We went from cold and snowy to warm and rainy here in Iowa and mud just isn't fun to camp in! I really hope by next weekend it will dry out enough to go!

Jevanb: Now you're talking. Go Tigers!!!!
On the subject: We just returned yesterday from 10 days at our seasonal site. All work. Moved sites, shed, deck, etc. Cold, Cold, and then 2 days of not so Cold, but then Cold again. LOL
We're going back May 1 for the rest of the season. I'm praying I don't have to take my ski pants again.
P.s. Go Tigers!!

Our 1st trip of the season will be in 2 weeks at Artillery Ridge Pa. Last year due to the mild winter we made our 1st trip in March. Going to de- winterize this weekend.

Hoping to get the RV back tomorrow from CW. Satellite service work. Heading out next Wednesday the 17th to the York Fairgrounds for a few days of Trains and Camping. TCA Semi-annual Train Meet. If anyone else will be attending I'll be parked on the main lot near the First Aid Station & Brown Hall. Stop by if you get a chance!
