My Wildcat came pre-wired for a second A/C with thermostat on the wall. Ours is direct duct into the bedroom. It's nice because you can be control the bedroom temp for sleeping and even shut down the first unit if your paying for the electricity.

I called FR before installing my 2nd AC and was told that all FR models with factory prep for 2nd AC are ducted. This was in 2014.
There was foil tape covering the holes where the 2nd AC ties into the ductwork. If you want to verify that on yours, just remove the bottom trim from the vent lid that's in place now and you should see the foil covered ducts on the left and right sides.

I puts out twice the cold air when both are running. Most of the time they are only both running during the initial cooldown after getting to the campground or on real hot days with no shade.
The real beauty is being able to run just the bedroom unit when you want it quiet in the main living area or just the main unit when you want to sleep in peace and quiet.

They each have their own thermostat and controls.

My 2016 Wildcat 29RLX bedroom is not ducted. It probably could be though. I love it to be cold when I sleep. It is loud, but no louder than my ducted unit. I just got a tv to mount in the bedroom. Hopefully it has enough volume.
