Second trip of the year was eventful

Finished our second trip of the year, eventful. Our daughter wanted come in so second day we go pick her up, lost brakes on truck on way back to camp, rear pad fell out. Not happy about 3 hour delay along with a tow and garage bill BUT it happened in a town where she knew someone who referred us to a good mechanic. He got us in and on the road and we weren't towing the TT down one of the mountains when they went. Guess if it had to happen it couldn't have happened in a much better way.

Two hours after we get back to camp a storm hits. Rest of family were in tents. Ended up with one destroyed, 2 with everything soaked and they all left for home the next day. We stayed and considering 75% of the state was without electric we were doing pretty good, self contained and enjoyed ourselves.

Did learn one other thing, if you put cute little lights on awnings and tie downs to hold it, they delay you when you are trying to roll it up in 60 mile an hour winds. Storm was on us so quick there was no time to put it up before it hit but we got it in and no damage or injuries from the whole thing so can't complain.
