I have always believed that Locks keep an honest man honest, but only slow down a thief.
I only keep out what I can afford to lose. If I would hate to have to replace it, it is locked away.

Unless we're in bear country the BBQ & stove is out 100% of the time, we do however move our chairs under the trailer every night or when away.

Common sense and a feel for the area goes a long way
Don't invite trouble in by leaving certain items out.

Security Freaks vs Take it all

I'm a trusting soul and it's bit me only a couple of times, mostly at home. Last weekend we left campground to come home for a graduation party, had my truck parked on an unused site (took wife's Yukon), gave the keys to the guy in the site next to it in case it needed moved while we were gone. Met him only once before. Never thought a thing about it. I would much rather someone take my stuff than to damage something. Vandalism is the same as theft, but just senseless.

Edit: It did bite me in Goshen when a group of individuals decided to leave about 50 rubber dicks hidden inside my camper!

But you came out on the plus side of that episode. Even the factory got in the act.

LOL. We have a boxer too. Problem is that if they have any kind of food with them she'll help them carry stuff out.

I swear, our girl will eat herself to death.

And when you have to sign the new check-in form titled: "What Happens in Goshen Stays In Goshen" they will reference Aquaman's post.
