I agree 100% Location, Location, Location.......

We lock up always when we go out. We usually stay at smaller parks and mostly people keep an eye on each others sites. We leave chairs out and the grill usually. I actually get paranoid someone will take our firewood is all.

After reading some of the stories on the forum, I double check that we lock up at night so no one tries to wander into the wrong rig. They would not get far between the American Eskimo alarm system, the Norwegian Elk-hound second layer of defense and my Irish/German wife. I'd hate to have to clean up any mess that might be left over.

My attitude has always been that locks keep out lazy thieves. If they want it bad enough, a cinder block will open a window pretty quickly. We just try not to raise anyone's attention who is trolling for a victim and leave the silver and china at home.
