Seems to be NO overflow outlet

323MK Wildcat doesn't seem to have an overflow outlet. When filling up it sounds like it is getting full and some water squirts out the air hole by the freshwater inlet but it actually only goes 2/3 full. I have started keeping both hot and cold faucets open (pump turned off) and this seems to help me fill up to full. Any further suggestions? Is it possible there is no overflow outlet?

All rv holding tanks have a vent tube and people refer to this as an overflow tube but is actually the vent tube that will tell you when the tank is full. How far into the tank the vent tube is inserted probably changes the level to which the tank can be filled. If your tank is a manual fill there typically is a small hole where the vent tube is routed along side the fill tube.

Have you tried filling slower, you maybe putting water in faster than it can vent. Causing your tank to pressure and blowing water out.

Reason I'm asking about the overflow was my last trailer had the vent tube right beside my freshwater fill and I had an overflow in another location where water would come out when full. I also may have to resign myself to slower filling.

All I have is a vent/overflow. They didn't even bother to run hose up to fill point. Mine drops out bottom near tank drain. So I get the dreaded siphon effect when I fill to capacity. Much to expensive to run two hoses like you talking about, or to run it up to fill point. Slower fill is what I believe you will have to do.

Sigh. I guess I will just have to take my time (hard to do when I am anxious to get to camping!).

Here's what we do: We use a 1/2" fill hose. I've cut the end off so I can slide the small diameter fill hose down to the bottom of the tank and fill the tank from the bottom up instead from the top down. Air easily escapes out of the top so I can fill fairly quickly. This has also solved any "burping" problem as it gets full. Works like a charm for us.
