Oh yeah ... the 3 tire failures. One: Dealer checked the spare tire for air pressure in October on receipt from factory. On customer delivery in April, the tire had no air pressure. Pinhole leaks found in the sidewall. Two: Sidewall bulge. Three: slow leak developed with no visible tread or sidewall damaged. One and Two replaced with original tires, C load rating. Number three was replaced with original tire but D load rating. I retained the LR D as the spare and replaced all rotating tires with GY Marathon LR D.

Why would you say most campers aren't rated for full time use? We have well over 600 nights in ours and 13 out of 15 months in one stretch out on the road. We owned a permanent site for a few years and it was plugged in for 7 months 3 years on a row.

The "you" that said that is FR. Its right in front page of otherwise mostly unhelpful owner's manual that came with our trailer. I would guess they are protecting themselves from warranty expense, but for whatever reason, they clearly state that in the owner's manual.

The OP raises a great question and I have enjoyed the many great replies. Not much more to add.

Vin.
