I bought a new lacrosse 305res, the RV dealer said the sewerage hose has to be bought separately. Is this true or are they trying to pull a fast one on me?

Yes, You will also need to purchase fresh water hose, electrical adapters to mate your plug with campground receptacles that do not match what your plug is.

I would guess that your dealer is not required to give you a sewer hose, however any deacent dealer would set you up with a sewer hose and a fresh water hose IMO.

Thanks I have everything else it was parked last year at the rv's campground and had a PVC hose (done by the campground) and now this year I am camping somewhere else, just wanted to make sure they were not lying to me. You know how salesmen can be...

Yep the hose that goes from your holding tank to the sewer connection is something you purchase by yourself. Sometimes some dealers give you a startup kit (sewer hose, chemicals etc). Whatever you purchase get a good quality hose and also a hose support. I have a different lengths of sewer hose that can be hooked together to make a long piece. They are one 5 foot length a 10 foot length and a 15 foot length. I also have all the fittings to fit most sewer connections.

Rest and relax if I bought it from a good RV place they might have done that but I didn't buy it from the best place in the world. I have had my issues with them...

If you did receive one in a starter kit chances are that you would upgrade before even using it. The differences are day & night and well worth the investment.

It all depends on the dealer as to what extras you get.

Our dealer gave us a cheap sewer hose and it would not do a good job draining. We upgraded to a Rhino with all the attachments (and we do use the attachments), but kept the dealer supplied hose as a back up. (purchased a two hose connector) We have used it.

The dealer also gave us a fresh water hoser, but it was too short for many parks. We now have two hoses!

The electrical cord supplied by the dealer was first class. We have purchased adaptors for when there is only a 30 watt power source.

Our dealer gave us a sewer hose, fresh water hose, the adapters for the electric hook ups. He even put in an adapter for the toilet to raise it a bit higher. This was when we purchased a used TT from him. He also swapped our two 20 lb propane tanks for 2 30# tanks. I would recommend Dee Jay RV in Havelock On to any one.

It seems to me the dealers here in ontario try very hard to keep their customers.
I have never had a problem eith Georgetown R.V. but wanted a fifth wheel and
liked the Flagstaff so went to Gimmy shelter in Shelburne On. and no problems
with them either, so far at least they have treated me great. Will be picking it up
in another month and can't wait.

X2 on that. We received a starter kit bucket that contained an adequare sewage hose, a bottle of RV polish, sponge, and a potable water hose. We kept the sewage hose that came with the starter kit as a spare, but soon upgraded to one made by Rhino Flex.

Still haven't decided on the sewage hose supports yet as we have not yet seen a need for them.
