Should I disconnect my trailer from power over the winter?

I currently have my trailer parked next to my house and winterized. My question is, should I disconnect the power cord and remove the batteries? I was thinking about leaving it connected because I have been sleeping in it on the weekends with the kids. Any downside to leaving it connected?
Thanks
Jason

We always leave ours plugged into shore power. Have been doing it for many years and never had a problem.

Discharged batteries may have a problem. Fully charge them and they should be fine or put on a smart charger

OK, I'll correct you. Think about the battery in your car. It doesn't freeze. So long as it's fully charged, it'll be OK.

I have my trailer and mower battery in my garage, which is usually <32 degrees. I have a battery minder smart charger. I put it on one battery one week and the other battery the next week, then keep swapping until spring.

Leave ours plugged in, provides a nice hotel room for visitors if needed. DW uses the refrigerator to handle food prep overflow for holidays. We pick up 9-11 mouths to feed several times over th two winter holidays.

I plug my camper up every so often during the winter or any other long non-use time and have never had a problem with batteries. In fact, my 2007 Cardinal had the same battery in it when we traded it in this spring. It still held a good charge over a period of time.

I turn off the battery disconnect every time we store our trailer. Battery is allways ready to go when we get back.

One other question related to this thread - can you use every electrical plug and appliance if the battery is removed, but the trailer is plugged into shore power? I removed the battery, but still have the ability to plug our stored trailer into a 30 amp receptacle.
