Shower Question

We are looking forward to camping soon with our first camper. In the shower, it looks like the previous owner added a Oxygenics shower head but there is no button to pause the water while soaping up. There is a button where the handles are which I thought was a tub diverter but my husband says there's no way for water to come out of it. He thinks that button is to pause the shower. Is that right? Also, has anyone bought the kind of shower rod that expands out when taking a shower to give more room and then pushes back in when not being used? I'm thinking of getting one. It's called extend-a-shower expanding shower rod.Click image for larger version

No, that is most definitely a tub spout that water comes out of and the round disc your see at that angle is the pull diverter. The original design of the Oxygenics Body Spa did not have a push button pause - that's a newer feature. The original has a twist on-off at the base of the head. You can buy the pause buttons, but only in the white and chrome finishes, separately.

It is possible the prior owner adjust the diverter to be closes always so the shower is on all the time, but you can change that.

This is the model:

We have an Oxygenics shower head and LOVE it... you can add a shut off valve.

Or here is another option for a shut off valve. We like ours just fine since we added the shut off to it.

We have the extend a shower rod, works great especially if you have a small place and there is nothing worse than the shower curtain sticking to your leg.

Just added the oxygenics shower head to out TT. Love that thing, makes camp showers so much more enjoyable. Ours is chrome and has the handy turn on/off button. Good investment!

Home Depot also has the shut off valve. It's where I got mine, and it's in the bath and shower aisle.

Just bought a "like new" Bricor B100 max, 1GPM head on e-Bay, $12 and free shipping. Yet to install but hear good things about it and for $12 can't go wrong. Hoping to save water those long showers someone likes.
Just need that shut off valve I see in the thread here.
