Sick of the Weather Guessers

All week....Saturday was to be sunny and high of 60's....best day in over a month and on a saturday none the less. Had big plans to repack my wheel bearings, get the propoane re filled and a few other things. Wife cut my leash for the day (agreed on last weekend) as i have not had a weekend to do what i wanted for months....

Woke up this AM....Cold and sideways rain. SH!T.

I'm with ya! The local weather guessers never seem to see changing weather headed this way. The best job in the world is a weather person on a local TV station in St. Louis. They never have to be right and they never lose their jobs.

That's weathermen AND economist. Both get paid for being right 10% of the time.

It's starting to warm up here too, and I am starting to get the fever. Our camping group is meeting tonight for dinner to discuss the summer plans.

I even got out the weber to clean it up last night, also freshened up the lantern with new mantles.

Patience, patience, patience. Spring will get here, eventually.

Ryand, welcome to married life. After 22 years on (April 13), I have realized hat a Happy Wife is a Happy Life. Lol. Just kidding i know the feeling of busy. As for weather...in central Illinois in the '70's we had a meteorologist, who was probably 80 and you could always count on his forecasts...as long as you understood that he was always 180 degrees out from being right.

Big Dawg...camping group?

Last Friday the weather guesser said the storm heading our way was going to go south of us and predicted no snow. The next day they issued a winter storm watch and Monday we had 10" on the ground. Oops!

It's so nice here in S W PA. I can hardly stand it. Mid to upper forties, bright sunshine and still, just no wind at all... feels like spring to me. Eat your hearts out, I think I'll pop open a brown bottle or two.
