OK, we've all been hounded by the "Weight Police" for towing a pop-up with anything less than a Peterbuilt. So here's your chance to sound off about what you think about your tow vehicle.

our rv has a max gross weight of 15500
our tow vehicle as it sits is rated to pull 18100


our gross combined weight rating for the truck is 26000

all hooked up and ready for the road we bounce between 23000 - 24000

we have a f350 crew cab

I'm good to go with a bit extra should I want to slap in a genset or full fresh tank and a couple extra warm bodies in the truck.

My truck is a 1/2 ton (Titan), and my trailer is 42' long. (GVWR is 11,660 lbs)

I don't tow mine, nor will I upgrade. It just sits at a seasonal site.

I think I am ok but I dont know as I have never weighed the trailer.

I think my tow vehicle is a little over kill for the 5er that I tow, but I had rather have to much truck as not enough and besides if we want to upgrade to a bigger 5er will will be ok with our TV.

So 28' Grand Surveyor behind my 5.9L (yes before the hemi) 2002 Dodge Ram 1500. Lets just say they call it half ton towable but we will see how well it works with a full fresh tank since we like to hit state parks.
