We have a large skylite over our shower. DW make a fabric shade that we attatch with velcro around the perimeter in 8 spots. Works well.

Can you post a picture of this? Would like to see it. Did she put that reflective bubble stuff on the back? So far all we have done is close the shower doors and hang towels over the doors and all the heat stays in the shower but need a better solution

i have seen pics of folks just taking a small throw pillow (like from a sofa) and stuffing it up there. plus, it can be used for something like the actual couch for when a power nap is needed.

For that one and the one in the bath DW cut a piece of 2" foam (available from any fabric store) to fit snugly in the square opening and covered it with fabric she had. Take a look at pic # 36 of our photobucket link below. Not only does it eliminate the light but also helps when the furnave or AC are used. You can also buy them at CW. We covered it with the leftovers from our attic fan cover.

This is what we have used for the last few years. They work great.

We were recommended this by a full timer. Have not tried it yet but it has good reviews and is cheap and easy to install/remove. Bought at Camping World.

We used them in our other camper and they worked fine. Haven't gotten around to doing it to our new one yet. Might try the foam idea first since I have some laying around. Either is a must for those that like to sleep in or take a well deserved nap !!

We use the roller shade type in our bed end vent. It blocks out most of the light, but it still lets in some rays around the edge. The pillow insert from Camping World would totally block out the light.

We use-------

We use the pillow type from Camping World, but with clear filament
fishing line criss cross across the cushion to hold IT in place. Blocks light and insulates.

The skylight in the bath, I removed the thin plastic from the white frame. Had my local glass company to cut a "TEMPERED GRAY GLASS" to replace the thin flat plastic. The gray glass stops the heat, filters out the UV rays
but still lets the light in. Cost of the tempered glass is about $14.00. Used clear silicone sealant to glue glass to the top of the white frame.
