slide on Forest River Bunkhouse class A

we are shopping the bunkhouse but find the slide to be odd? Right under the awning?? That takes two feet away from my shade or the rain?? Is it an issue for those of you who own one?

Welcome to the forums.

Ours is that way on our Georgetown motorhome. Not a big issue for us. Is it a power awning or manual?

That must be the quad slide 357. If awning space is more important to you than the extra slide, check out the triple slide 350. There is no slide in the kitchen.

We have the Georgetown 378 that has a slide under the canopy. We have no problem with it. You work around it. since our slide goes straight out, we added a 2ft awning cover on it with gromets. It rolles up with the awning. We attach a 9 ft staked awning to our 2 ft extension canopy and that gives plenty of space.

kvtaylor... would love to see pics of this 2ft awning extension canopy & cover. Sounds like something we could use this summer. Thanks

Thank you everyone for your response. We are still in the shopping mode and have not made a decision because the available inventory is 12+ hours away.
We will take your suggestion Ken and Velda that is awesome didn't even think of that?? We have that with our Georgie boy and haven't even used it, no need with full awning.

It is a power awning, is that a good thing?
