Slide room - IN A SLIDE ROOM!!!
OK, when I thought I'd seen all the novel ideas coming out of Elkhart - here's another new twist.
A slide room inside of a slide room.
This was in a new high-end Redwood 5er I saw at my local dealer. I had to stop and take some pics.
Schwintek units. Lots of room in the master suite.
Unbelievable.
Inside

Interesting for sure. We sometimes have enough problems finding the right spot in campsites that our three slides can be deployed and clear tress,

These are neat, have been seeing these at the RV shows for the last few years, I think the most interesting one had the slide coming out of the front cap on a 5th wheel.

I saw a motor cycle tow hauler slide at the Hershey RV Show which was really neat. The garage was behind the entertainment center wall. In the closed position, the entertainment center jutted into the 5th wheel living area. When in the open position, the entertainment center was flush with the trailer side, and the motorcycle was exposed to the outside where it could be unloaded. There was a door between the trailer and the garage.
I think it was an Evergreen trailer, but could not find the floor plan on the website.....might have been a prototype.

Yes indeed very cool.
The only worry I would have with that one is the fact that the manufacturers seem to have a hard time properly sealing a plain flat slideout from water intrusion, wonder how well a slide with multiple curves and angles will fair being towed in a downpour....

Now if they would just move the axle's back a bit so they tow better!! But then you might NEED a real truck to haul it.

When does one say "that's big enough"?
Just another place to leak IMO, but it is cool.

I bet it would be easier than cranking in my 14 foot living room slide....

Extra room in the bedroom. I, for one, would love to have the extra room in our bedroom since it doubles as my office when I work from the camper. We can't go longer as our camper is already comically long, but wider could work (even with the challenges that it causes fit wise).
