slide topper unrolled on backend ??

when we pulled in front of our home ...after driving 1100 miles from Florida...the back-end of the slide topper had begun to unroll...(about 6-8 inchs)...after backing the 5ver in the drive way..we opened the slide and the topper appears to be fine ..But..What happened there ?? Is something loose or broken ??

Sounds like the roller tube did not lock. See if you can unroll it in the closed position by pulling up on the canvas. Thats why I do not what toppers....just another problem....just another thing to clean....
