Slide Toppers and Wind

Currently experiencing 20 - 30 mph gusts that are actually shaking the 5'er. and I'm new to slide toppers. Putting in the awning in high winds is a no brainer. Any secrets for the toppers on the slides (other than putting the slide in)?

Toppers are usually not a problem Mine are pretty tight and 20-30 mph is not cause for worry. They may flap a little but (once things are quieter) they can be adjusted for tension. I do not have the procedure at hand but there are many YouTube videos on how to do it. Not hard.

Ours flapped and fluttered all winter this year in S tx.......but after wind died down seems like original tension is restored on its own....good luck
