small mishap while camping

So my DW and I decided to go to the lake sunday since when I got off work and didn't have to work Monday. While backing into a spot that was on a corner that. had poles one side and cars on the other I thought I could back right in. well I apparently I got a bit close to a pole on the side passenger side of the road bend a piece of trim on a compartment door on the camper. I pulled ahead and we got out and saw that it was just very minor damage. Nothing to get upset about cause accidents happen. we had a good chuckle about it

I have run into our 5th wheel with the riding mower. More than once.

Leaves a green spot on the camper.

Seems every time I go to a State Park some old duff comes dragging in a 1970's era Terry Resort TT (or some such) towing with a pickup of about the same vintage. The equipment shows it's age. Every dent, ding, scrape and even some of the dirt likely holds a memory.

Invariably there are 6 grandkids. This is probably the same camper he took their parents camping with, back in the day when truck and trailer were shiny and new.

They seem to be having more fun than the folks in the newer, better rigs.

Radio. The kids are not impressed with our new toy's.(unless it's some new tech'y thing) they just like having fun. Most of us can do just fine with what we had/have. others like me could learn a lot from
'oh this is fine for us"

Maybe they are happier because they don't have payments? N7MIP

If it makes you feel any better the dealer gouged my passenger side trim. We didn't get upset, just asked them to fix it. As you said, Accidents happen. This weekend we scuffed the front AC on a tree limb. No real harm, no foul. Having a good attitude about it like you did is good. It is another story for the campfire. Hope the repair bill is cheap for you.

Gave my 5er a scrape backing in my driveway. Hit my house AC unit. Had a spotter. Oh well. I still love it. Love the spotter too.
