I know. I know. The guy was just moving the trailer a few feet in the campsite, but it sure looked funny.

An there you have my exact reason to move to the 3/4 ton. Yea, the guy is just moving a few feet, but in reality that truck couldn't even think about hitting an highway without the hitch. One thing i really disliked about the ram 1/2 ton offering. My truck clearly couldn't handle even the advertised payload when I hauled 1k of dirt in it much less hang 900# on the hitch.

Judging and experience are two different things. My 1500 ram (nearly the truck in the photo) put the shank of the equalizer hitch in the dirt without connecting the bars. Trailer was well within advertised towing capability. Hence the reason for my comment. However, your statement is very true and ironic indeed.
