Snow Days

Oh my gosh.. we might get 1 to 3 inches of snow here in south Georgia. Quick...everybody run to the store and stock up on milk and bread. Last time we had snow was in 1973.

We live in south Alabama and went to W-M yesterday and you'd have thought it was a hurricane day! It was packed! We'll be lucky if the snow lasts one whole day!

My golf cart is clean and dry in the garage, with a 4' drift at the door that is as far as it would get, I bet you had fun driving in the snow.

I served in the Bavarian Alps in the Army for six years and have seen snow up to nine feet deep. I live in Georgia now ( for the last 32 years) and it is an absolute HOOT when we get snow here. Everything shuts down, schools, banks, government,etc... Here in southwest Ga in the county I live in, on the news last night they said they had three tons of salt.........but no spreader truck. I love it.

Cool

Darn you people. We have not had enough snow this year. Send some of it to us. We need it.

On NPR radio they talked about a guy putting together a pictorial of snow in all 50 states yesterday.... not sure if they got it all but they think that yesterday there was some snow in all the states...even Hawaii up in the mountains but they had no picture for there yet.

So sorry to hear about your situation. Have you been inside the unit to see if there's any noticeable penetration of the AC units into the interior? This snow has really been hard on us all but fortunately we didn't lose anything other than time cleaning it up. Let us know what the outcome is and if there's anything you need help with, your not too far away. Best wishes, Charlie
