Snowbirds from Alberta

What do people do when heading South from freezing temperatures? Do you leave trailer winterized? What exactly do you do?

I would leave it winterized till warm weather was found, good luck with that venture.

Leave it winterized until I am sure that the temperatures will stay above freezing from that point on. Why take a risk and possibly spend money and time fixing things ?

Depending on the type of RV you have many snowbirds will stay in a hotel first couple nights...can be very difficult to find a campground that is open even for just electricity. If you have a generator than you can probably get by and stay in the RV, but you mentioned trailer in your post so I assume that is what you have.

We are from Ontario and we don't de-winterize until we are in Georgia.
