Heading to Minneopa State Park in Mankato MN this weekend with our first ever hard side camper. After 12 years in our Coleman pop up, its time for Dad and Mom to have it easy and camp!! Gonna be a great camping season and looking forward to getting out to see this Great Country!!

You will like it, we have been there several times as our daughter goes to Mankato State and she loves to camp as well so works out best for all. I really enjoy the state parks, you can never go wrong. I thought about New Ulm, it looks nice on the web site. Have Fun!!

Well, we made it back from our maiden voyage with the new camper and had no problems whatsoever other than the kitchen table is starting to split on the end. Stopped by the dealer and they have ordered a new one already, should be here in about 2 wks. Think we are going to enjoy the 5th wheel better than the tongue trailer if that is possible. It tows a lot smoother and definitely is not affected by passing semis, etc like the tongue trailer. Now to get used to the added height. The tonneau cover worked great, have to open up the area around the 5th wheel pinbox about 1/2" more on both sides to allow for more side to side tilting. Now to make that mod and then take it to get it covered in naugahyde.

Took our new camper out last weekend for a 4 day weekend and a first trip to break it in and all went well with no troubles at all (whew). camper pulls awesome, but it aint wind friendly, as im guessing the lighter weight and the camper sits a little higher than the old one, had alot to do with but its nothing i cant deal with, i think were really going to enjoy this camper for along time

Just returned from Lake Texoma outside of Durant, OK. This is site 15 at Johnson Creek Campground (COE). About 20 feet above the lake with an unobstructed view. This was paradise!

1st trip was to Reed Bingham State Park in January. 2nd trip this year is General Coffee State Park over Memorial Day weekend. Both parks are in Georgia.
