Sounds as if there are lots of great adventures in the works!
We're leaving later this week for the FROG trip to the Cherry Blossom Festival in Washington, DC. There will be 75 FROG couples and families there with 165 people from 33 states. Looking forward to a great event!
Bodscampers and Herk7769, I highly recommend the Lincoln Presidential Library and Museum in Springfield. They're extremely well done, beautifully laid out and full of information. Be sure to see the 15-minute AV presentation during the Presidential years part of the exhibit. I believe it was done by Disney "imagineers" and has a great twist near the end. Combine that with Lincoln's home and neighborhood, the train station from which he left Springfield, his law office, Old State Capitol, and tomb(s) and you can spend several great days. Top things off with a visit to New Salem Village, about 25 miles north of Springfield.

Our first outting will be this weekend at a local lake, nothing big just itching to get out. Then we are off to our normal Easter weekend campground in Northeastern Kansas. We have a long weekend planned on the Niobrara River in Nebraska for Memorial Day weekend. There will be short trips in between but those are the biggies that are the books for now.

Our maiden voyage with the new 8528RKWS will be Mon. 26Mar in Mocksville, NC at the Thousand Trails Campground. Camped 46 days in Florida this year in our 08 Flagstaff 831RLSS, came home and traded it.

Gotta love California. We bought our new 2012 Shamrock 23SS in August 2011 and have taken it out every month since then. Carpinteria State Beach two weekends ago, Yucaipa Regional Park and Lake Casitas in April.

We weren't planning on anything until our trip to Wisconsin in late may due to the DW's job. We had to make an emergency trip to Nebraska on March 5th and were there for a week. It was a cold trip up and the first day or two were also cold, but then it started to warm up. The upside was that the rv park was fairly empty and quiet.

Sounds like there are a lot of great trips planned. Since we are expecting this summer we decided to get a seasonal site at Emma Lake Provincial park in northern Saskatchewan. We will miss traveling around and seing the different parks but do look forward to not having to set up every time. Park opens May 17th...

We will be picking up our new Sabre 32 RCTS this Friday and plan on taking it on its inaugural run next weekend to a favorite State Park in southeast Michigan for our annual "Matzah" run.

Planning on Lathrop State Park near Walsenburg, CO this weekend for our maiden trip. The recent warm weather has certainly accelerated our camping plans for the season -- when we picked up our trailer earlier this month we didn't think we'd camp until May!

We have reservation made at the Rolling Hills West COE park located on Millford Lake, near Jct City, KS for April 15th the opening date for the 2012 season. The last time we were there (two years ago) they were making a new handicap site. Cement sure works better for the wife's 3-wheel walker so was glad to find it available when I made reservations earlier today.

Were picking up our Salem 28BHSS on Saturday and are already itching for a trip. We are thinking about heading out to Dutch Country in PA or maybe Gettysburg, PA. That will be testing the water, later after schools out we are planning a trip to Disney World. I feel like a kid again, can't wait to go go go...lol

If you should pick the Gettysburg KOA over the 13-15th of April we will see you there! That is our first trip.

Look for the Flagstaff Fiver with the Forest River Forums logo and Herk7769 in the dinette window.
I will keep a beer or two cold for you and the Missus, Ron.
You can watch me roll the awning in and out with my remote!

I made it on my color printer adapted from a design by another member (not here any more). I will see if I can find the master and post it.
