My wife and I purchased a new Prism 2150LE with a dinette and table on the slide. Has anyone ever replaced it with a sofa? I know this was an option but we got such a good deal on the unit we couldn't pass it up. I want to take out the dinette and install a sofa in it's place. Any help would be greatly appreciated such as where to buy and any advice on the install.
I would think it should be a fairly straight forward install. The dinette area is generally a simple bolt in. You just remove the dinette seats and table, remove the current flooring and replace with what you wish. Then just install a sofa.
I do not think you will run into too much trouble at all.
Thanks for your help, I didn't think it would be that difficult. I was concerned about getting the sofa into the rv but I'm sure they come apart. I was also wondering about seat belts since this is a motorhome and we may have people riding in the back.
