Speed Limit

When two speed limits are posted - one for cars and one for trucks - which one applies to RV's?

When pulling my trailer I always follow truck limits for both speed and available lanes.

Pardon the pun, but the answer is 'all over the map'...

As a general rule, if you are not towing and have two axles, it is the same as for cars. If you are towing, or have three axles, it is the same as trucks. It seems that most states (in the west, except California), do not differentiate between cars and trucks. They all go the posted speed limit for cars. If you are not sure, it is a simple matter to google the highway patrol in the state you are in, get their phone number and call them.
