One thing we do every spring and every fall is set off a bug fogger in the trailer. During the camping season if we stay in a site that seems to have a lot of spiders or lady bugs or whatever, I'll set another one off.
Believe me, you won't find all the openings that will allow insects to enter your camper.

As far as having water in the P trap after 2 months it could be gone through a little thing called "Evaporation". With the unit sitting still and not getting used.

I'm thinking, in a non-technical way, that they like the shower because of the background color since they are light cream in color.
Try Michigan State University entomology dept. They know everything there is to know about bugs.....blaaaaaaaaaaaaah...creepy!

Yes, we're fortunate enough to be able to keep it at home, so between checking on it, and taking it out, we're able to keep up with it.

I'm sure part of the problem is where we keep it, which is in a field area, that has been partially covered with road base. So the trailer isn't on the dirt/weeds, but next to it, and the pasture. I know there's billions of spiders out there. Kinda of just a problem we have to deal with.

Do you not worry about all the film left over from the bomb? Do you wipe down everything each time? I guess I would worry more about the soft surfaces like matrices and the dining area.

Believe me, I HATE them too!! It's pretty bad when you just hope the spiders are small ones, and not tarantulas, which are also around her!!

Dining table and countertops are wiped with disinfectant wipes and that all we do. Been doing this for 10 years and I'm still here.

Is it parked under trees? We get these cream colored spiders in our vehicles. They say that they come from the trees mainly oak trees

There is an Oak tree nearby, about 20' away, not directly under it.
