We have the ventless and do like it. To watch it operate, its like a marval of engineering! Average a load a day and its quite economical to operate. Best trait no lint, cooler operating.

I have the ventless, Everything wrinkles horribly
I am considering trading for vented...if I determine it works better
I use small loads...like maybe 3 shirts
Use woolite and downy
set on 9 T wash...take clothes out...shake ...and dry on 10

We have the vented combo...clothes still come out wrinkled. Uses very little soap and fabric softener. I like the fact that I put clothes in dirty and they come out clean and dry...down side it takes 2 1/2 to 3 hours per load...with the wife and I we do at least 2 loads per day.
Wish it had a lint trap..!

We have the newer ventless model in the coach. We have a had good luck with it. Two adults & three kids, it gets a workout.
As for the wrinkles, sometimes, but I think it is just from overloading. If we do the complete wash & dry without stopping the machine and take the clothes out when finished, all turn out pretty well.

Much to my wife's chagrin- this has been my conclusion each time I read about the washer/dryer combos (all we have room for).

I'm convinced after many loads the wrinkling is directly proportional to the drum diameter. If you have time and good weather, try to dry minimum 20 minutes then hang flat on rack. DW still irons all outer clothing, needed or not!

I have the combo washer/dryer and although my jeans come out wrinkled ( I think this was due to too large a load and too long sitting in the machine after cycle was through), I still would recommend it. I had the stackable washer and dryer but the washer quit working. After almost a year of comparison shopping, I determined that it was better to go ahead and by the combo unit and sell the working dryer. I now have extra storage space and don't have to hassle with switching loads. You can set it to only dry or only wash which I have found helps with the wrinkling thing.
I was also able to install the unit by myself and only needed someone to help me lift the old one out of the RV and lift the new one in.
I would recommend the combo unit, you just have to adjust your washing habits a bit but it is well worth it.

I have a vented combo in my 2011 Berkshire. I have room for a stackable, but don't want to give up the storage space above my washer where a dryer would go. Yes, it takes time, but its so easy. I've put a full set of queen sheets and pillow cases in on a combo cycle and they were perfectly dry and not wrinkled at end of cycle. If doing golf shirts etc, I do a wash cycle only, shake clothes out, add a dryer sheet and dry. "he" detergents and softeners are recommended. Much better than using public facilities.

If it's a Splendide or Ariston non vented caution!
Cannot use sheets or other additives because the hot air is recycled and thru a condenser. Chemicals woulld leave deposits and ruin the dryer. Follow mfgr. Directions.

Thanks VinceU for your caution! I did go back thru owners manual and there is a caution against using dryer sheets, that I passed over before. I will stop using them now that I know.
